A preview of April's #CameraChallenge with the Sony Mavica MVC-FD81, 02 April 2023

I recently took part in the March 2023 Twitter #CameraChallenge organised by Jason Avery. The rules for that Challenge were to use a film camera for street photography costing $20 or less. I chose to use my Canon Epoca, and quite frankly it was a bust, with negatives so thin that the lab could barely find any images to scan.

In April, the Challenge is a little broader, with the choice of camera left to the contestant, though the theme is set at 'texture'. The proper rules are released on Tuesday (04 April) but I fancied a quick photo walk with the Sony Mavica MVC-FD81 floppy disk camera to see what textures are available in the locality.
